CA COVID-19 Rent Relief Program

The CA COVID-19 Rent Relief program provides financial assistance for rent and utilities to income-eligible California renters and their landlords who have been impacted by COVID-19. Both renters and landlords can apply for assistance.

The Build Hope Inc. Scholarship

The BHI Scholarship provides financial opportunities for public housing and Section 8 residents that seek to further their education beyond high school. The application is open to graduating seniors as well as current college students/returning scholars who meet the criteria.

LADWP Issues $275 million in Utility Debt Relief

The Los Angeles Department of Water and Power (DWP) has issued $275 million in utility debt relief to 280,000 residential and commercial customers. If you have fallen behind on your utility bills, help is here. Save on your LADWP bill, check out the EZ-SAVE program. Note: There is a moratorium against water & electricity shut-offs through March 31st, 2022.

The last day to apply for the Emergency Rental Assistance Program will be on March 31 until 5 pm. Applications for the CA-COVID-19 Rent Relief Program will be closing at the end of March. The CA COVID-19 Rent Relief program provides greatly needed rent relief to Californians who have faced financial hardships due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Applications Open for CA Mortgage Relief Program, The California Mortgage Relief Program will provide financial assistance to homeowners who have fallen behind on their housing payments. Households at or below 100% AMI are eligible. Visit CAMortgageRelief.org to apply.

Breathe LA County Guaranteed Income Program: Application process begins March 31st. The program Breathe is a guaranteed income pilot project that will provide 1,000 eligible residents with $1,000 per month for three years. Breathe: LA County's Guaranteed Income Program Apply between March 31st - April 13th, 2022.
