Please join California State Assemblymember Mike Gipson as he hosts a Healing Circle Wednesday, October 19th at Los Angeles Harbor College at 6pm.

The most recent LA City Council scandal sparked outrage when Former City Council President, Nury Martinez, Councilmembers Kevin De León and Gil Cedillo and former President, LA County Fed, Ron Herrera, were exposed for a leaked recording of a conversation that took place last year.  The conversation involved them engaging in insensitive and racist comments towards the black child of Councilmember Mike Bonin, District Attorney Gascon and more noteworthy city figures.

Assemblymember Mike Gipson is hosting a healing circle for our neighbors in the Los Angeles communities including elected officials, clergy, community based organizations, students, indigenous groups, LGBTQ allies and supporters. In this healing circle, attendees will be able to share and express themselves in response to the recent scandal brought on by LA City Councilmembers and the former president of Los Angeles County Federation of Labor.
